We are Robert and Gina Veesaert. We are a husband and wife team, working together to give your guitar the best refinish possible at an affordable price. Your satisfaction is our number one priority.

In 2007, Robert bought a Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany. When he saw that it had terrible sanding scratches under the factory finish he thought, "Wow! Surely I could better than that!" So he did, and Lapidary Dreams was born. Since then, we've been refinishing guitars that have less than stellar factory finish work, have been beat up by use or just weren't the color the owner really wanted.

In addition to refinishes, we also change out electronics; removing PCBs, changing from modern to vintage wiring or vice versa, swapping out pots, caps, etc. to get the tone of your guitar where you want it to be.
